School Sports |
On the day of a match or meet, students are permitted to wear their sport team uniform top with dress-code-compliant bottoms, unless otherwise instructed |
Shoes |
Shoes must be completely enclosed; no clogs, mules, open-toed shoes, or sandals of any kind are allowed |
Hair |
Hair must be clean and neatly groomed |
Other |
Body piercing, hats, caps, bandanas, tattoos, excessive makeup, facial hair, sunglasses (in the classroom) are not appropriate accessories for school |
Casual-Dress Guidelines |
Periodically casual dress days will be announced. Students may choose to wear: dresses, t-shirts with sleeves and either jeans, leggings, dress shorts (must have 4” or longer inseam), skirts, or PHE shorts. While these items are meant to be a guide, the list is not exhaustive. All clothing should be tasteful, school-appropriate, and within the boundaries of Saint Andrew’s School culture. The following is not permitted for students of any gender:

Upper School
Upper School Dress Code 2023-2024
Upper School polo options are in knit material, available in black, red, and white, and Dri-Fit material in red and black. In addition, there will also be Under Armour solid-color polos in red and black. The Upper School uniform bottoms will consist of black and khaki color options for shorts and skirts, and khaki pants. We are still discussing options with regard to senior privileges and other special aspects of our school. Details of any exceptions to our uniform will be communicated before the end of the school year.
The apparel will be different from the Saint Andrew’s Middle School uniform, and students are expected to be in the Upper School uniform for everyday dress. As discussed in the last email, students will still need to acquire clothes for formal dress days, which consist of the following dress options:
- Option 1: Appropriate dresses, appropriate footwear or
- Option 2: Formal skirt with blouse in Dress Code, appropriate footwear or
- Option 3: Long pants/slacks, belt, dress shirt, tie/bowtie, blazer, dress shoes and socks. Ties should be worn properly around the neck

Our uniform partner is Jonathan Reed, which is our current vendor for Lower and Middle School uniforms.
In-store merchandise sales for the US uniform will be available starting July 15. In-store fittings will be available for the US uniform starting Thursday, June 1; no appointment is required. This is also the date you can order online or in-store with Jonathan Reed.
